Canada/USA Mathcamp is an intensive five-week summer program for mathematically talented high school students, offering exploration of advanced mathematical ideas. While the application deadline for the 2026 summer program (held at Champlain College in Burlington, VT from June 28 - August 2, 2026) was February 23, 2026, students interested in the 2027 program should anticipate application materials to become available in January 2027 with a deadline likely in late February 2027. Students aged 13-18 who are comfortable with high-school algebra, geometry, trigonometry, exponents, and logarithms, and have preferably completed precalculus, are eligible. The application includes contact information, math background, a personal essay, solutions to a Qualifying Quiz (including scratchwork), and a reference. There is no application fee. The cost for the 2026 program was $7,500, but it is free for US and Canadian families with household incomes under $100,000 (with typical assets), and need-based financial aid, including full scholarships and travel grants, is widely available.
Who's eligible
