Who this site is for

Merit Newsletter is intended for parents and educators. Accounts and subscriptions are created by adults (18 or older). The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

• The email address and name you provide when subscribing.
• Your stated preferences (grade levels, topics, locations, frequency).
• Basic technical data your browser sends (e.g. IP address, user agent), used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

We use your email and preferences to send the newsletter you signed up for and to let you manage or cancel your subscription. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and cookies

We may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Because our audience is parents of K-12 students, we serve non-personalized (contextual) ads — chosen based on page content rather than tracking individual visitors.
