The Florida Elementary Science Olympiad (ESO) offers team-based science competitions for K-5 students (events are aimed at 4th and 5th-grade levels, with up to two 6th graders allowed per team). Teams of up to 15 students from public, private, or homeschools are welcome to register for the 2026-2027 tournaments. While specific informational meeting dates for coaches are to be announced, registration for the 2026-2027 academic year is currently open. The 2027 tournament dates include April 3, 2027, at River City Science Academy Innovation in Jacksonville, and April 17, 2027, at Osceola Science Charter School in Kissimmee, with other regional tournaments to be announced. Each team pays a registration fee, which covers participation, lunch for students, and lunch for two coaches.
