The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), are a series of challenging math competitions for middle and high school students. The AMC 10 and AMC 12 competitions are specifically for high school students (grade 10 and below for AMC 10; grade 12 and below for AMC 12). The 2026-27 MAA AMC dates are November 5, 2026, for AMC 10 A and AMC 12 A, and November 13, 2026, for AMC 10 B and AMC 12 B.
Who's eligible
Middle and high school students. Students register through their schools, local colleges, universities, math circles, or learning centers.
