FIRST Tech Challenge is an opportunity for middle school students to work with mentors to design and build robots to compete in a game. Students aged 12-18, in grades 7-12, are eligible. Registration for the 2026-2027 season is open via the FIRST Dashboard. The kickoff for the season is September 12, 2026. Teams need to create an account on the FIRST Dashboard to register.

Teams need to create an account on the FIRST Dashboard and may need to set up a financial guarantor if using a purchase order or sales tax exemption.
