About
Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to K–12 students across the U.S. While primarily an art competition, students are challenged to create an original "doodle" based on a specific theme, which can often be interpreted through a science or STEM lens. Students in grades K-12 are eligible, and parents or guardians can submit on behalf of younger students. Entries are judged on artistic merit, creativity, and how well the artwork communicates the theme. The national winner receives a college scholarship and a technology package for their school, and their Doodle is featured on the Google homepage.
