The Copernicus Natural Science Olympiad is an international competition open to students from grades 3 to 12, focusing on scientific disciplines. The Preliminary Round for the 2026 competition (for the 8th Copernicus Olympiad) is scheduled online for November 1, 2026, with a registration deadline of October 15, 2026. Students interested in Physics & Astronomy can also participate in the Copernicus Physics Olympiad, with Preliminary Rounds on October 11 and November 15, 2026. To enroll, students must register online and pay a participation fee. Students who score at least 40% in the Preliminary Round are eligible to participate in the Global Round, which is slated for January 5-10, 2027, in Houston, Texas, USA. The Preliminary Round participation fee is $25 per student.
