The competition is organized by miniPCR bio and Boeing. The submission portal opens on January 5, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 14, 2026. Finalists are announced in May, and winners are announced in July. Winners also have the opportunity to participate in a Space Biology Camp in the fall. The competition is free to enter, and both individuals and teams of up to two students are eligible.
