The You Be The Chemist Challenge is a national competition for students in grades 5-8, organized by the Chemical Educational Foundation. Participants compete in teams of four, starting with a multiple-choice qualifier test. Advanced teams proceed to collaborative short-answer questions and video creation. The Qualifier Round is on December 12, 2026, with subsequent rounds and a national final in Houston, TX.
